About

Hey there! Here’s a little bit about me and what I’ve been up to over the years. I’m a hands-on writer/creative director with over 20 years’ experience in advertising. I’m passionate about what I do and love nothing better than thinking up clever ideas that can work across all mediums.

So whether it’s above the line, through the line, digital or DM, I have created work across all disciplines and produced work that builds brands, drives behaviour change and delivers results.

I’ve worked in London, Sydney, Dublin and Belfast and I’ve had the opportunity to work with some amazing, talented people and clients along the way. I have a wealth of international experience working on global brands for a range of clients which spans across IT, FMCG, Public Sector, Financial, Automotive, Charity, Tourism and Healthcare. You could say there isn’t much I haven’t written about – well maybe dog food.

For the past 10 years I’ve been working as Creative Director in Belfast, managing a team of people, trafficking work flow through the studio and driving the strategic and creative direction on numerous pitches. And I’ve had my fair share of glory winning clients such as; NITB, Invest NI, Fostercare, Belfast City Council, White’s Oats, Autoline, SEAI (Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland), Fostercare and Ulster University to name but a few.

Thanks to some great clients who gave me the opportunity to create great work, I’ve picked up several awards along the way too, including: PANI, Caples, ICAD, ECHO, Campaign Direct, One Show, IDMA, DMA, D&AD and John Caples.

Outside of my day job, I am a director on the PANI (Publicity Association of Northern Ireland) council and have been responsible for setting up and developing the PANI and Ulster University student workshops. Helping to give the next generation of marketers an insight into our industry and open doors for them is something I’m extremely passionate and proud of.
